Tumi Head of Region, South Africa — Success Resources Video to be supplied
“You will not have to translate anything. That is the point.”
Tumi leads Success Resources in South Africa and has run the National Achievers Congress here for years. In two minutes she explains what changes when the person on stage has built a business in the same economy you are building in — and why she wanted this event to happen at home first.

Claim My Free SeatFor more than ten years, Success Resources has brought the world’s most recognised entrepreneurs and thinkers to South African audiences through National Achievers Congress. That exposure mattered — it showed people what was possible, at a time when the country needed to see it.
But South Africa is no longer short of its own success stories. A generation of founders, investors and builders has emerged from Johannesburg, Soweto, Cape Town and Durban — people who understand this economy, this currency, and what it actually takes to build here.
African Achievers Congress puts that person on the stage instead. Every speaker at AAC is South African, sharing what they know with the people building right next to them.
In 1992 my husband Richard and I started Success Resources with one idea: ordinary people deserve access to the best teachers in the world. Two years later we put 12,000 people into the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and the National Achievers Congress was born.
Since then we have run more than 500 events a year across 37 countries, and brought Tony Robbins, Sir Richard Branson, Gary Vaynerchuk, Nick Vujicic and many others to stages in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Nairobi. South Africa has been one of our most loyal audiences for over a decade.
African Achievers Congress is the next step, and it is a deliberate one. This time the stage belongs entirely to South Africans. It is the proudest programme we have ever put our name to, and it starts in Johannesburg this October.
